- Learn the fundamentals for professional quality picture retouching and restoration, plus how each tool Options works.
- Full and clear demonstrations on how to identify colour problems – then how to make accurate corrections.
- Learn how to convert colour images into stunning black-and-white pictures.
- Learn how to use the many automated processes under the Create menus to make scrapbook pages, greeting cards, DVD covers, web galleries, slideshows, flip books and more.
- Learn how to use the many special effects filters to produce fantastic artistic, paint, blurring, brush stroke and optical distorting effects.
- Learn how to resize photos to make them fit specific printing proportions, or for email attachments.

Before the course
A basic understanding of computer operation is essential. Some experience with photo-editing would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Note: The skills learnt in this course are all compatible with previous versions of this software. Mac or PC.

Secure Parking is available through the RPAH Medical Centre located on the corner of Missenden Road and Carillon Avenue (entry to the car park is via Elizabeth Street, off Carillion Avenue). Parking is available on weekdays only between the hours of 7:00AM – 7:00PM at a rate of $38/day or $9/day after validating your ticket at CCE’s reception. All CCE participants who validate their tickets at reception are required to park their vehicles on Level B3. If the validated ticket does not register in the car park’s ticketing machine, cancel the transaction then reinsert your ticket into the ticketing machine until the $9 fee appears.
