We are taught to read and write, but very few of us are taught how to be financially literate. This course will help you develop meaningful life goals and the knowledge and confidence to develop the necessary financial strategies to help you achieve what is important to you.

Course Outcomes
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and articulate meaningful life goals for themselves and their family
- Effectively use a budget to enhance their overall financial position
- Identify any debt issues and how to use debt as a wealth creating tool
- Understand how the various investments operate
- Select the investments which best help them achieve long term wealth
- Identify how to use superannuation to their advantage
- Calculate the insurance cover that is necessary to protect their lifestyle and personal assets
- Work with a specialist lawyer to develop an estate plan that is appropriate to them and their family
- Be able to select the right financial adviser for them
- Work confidently with a financial adviser

Other Information
Secure Parking is available through the RPAH Medical Centre located on the corner of Missenden Road and Carillon Avenue (entry to the car park is via Elizabeth Street, off Carillion Avenue). Parking is available on weekdays only between the hours of 7:00AM – 7:00PM at a rate of $38/day or $9/day after validating your ticket at CCE’s reception. All CCE participants who validate their tickets at reception are required to park their vehicles on Level B3. If the validated ticket does not register in the car park’s ticketing machine, cancel the transaction then reinsert your ticket into the ticketing machine until the $9 fee appears.
